All -

I am ready for another mod, which should I do first?

1.) New Speakers (Inifinity Kappas)
2.) dB Performance Exhaust
3.) SCT X3 Programmer

What do you all think and why? She is a pavement pounder and I drive about 2500 miles a month. I will eventually do all of these mod's, but I am unsure what to tackle next.

I say the stereo because the stock one sucks! But the programmer would be nice too.

I say do the exhaust first. There is nothing like firing up your truck and hearing the exhaust rumble. I would pick the tuner second followed by the speakers last.

+1 Then you can get a custom tune and let them know you have exhaust already.

Must agree, good exhaust kit is hard to beat! Then a tuner to take advantage of the gains...THEN new speakers you can crank up and hear over the newfound exhaust!!

I'd do the speakers. What a drastic improvement you will notice. You will actually be able to turn it up and enjoy your favorite tunes again, travelling those 2500 a month.

Speakers then exhaust then tuner...

You want to have exhaust before tuner so you can tell the programmer what exactly you have.

I say tuner because you already have speakers to hear out of no matter how crappy they are. lol Already have exhaust although it is pretty quiet but you have nothing to tune the vehicle with with all the driving you do. just my opinion lol

How good are the factory head units? In past vehicles when I upgraded only the speakers it still sounded poor due to the crappy output of the factory unit. Can someone with speakers only, comment on how the sound is powered off of the stock head unit?

I have heard pretty good feedback from guys with the Infinity Kappa's running those with the stock head unit. I believe Marshal is running that set-up and I know I have read a few other posts about much better sound quality.

I am thinking Speakers, Exhaust, then tune now. Speakers make sense because I always have my IPOD on or XM. Then get the cat-back and a tune to follow.
