Got my truck flashed for the TBC, $130 . Called 5 or 6 dealers, none would budge on the 1 hr charge.

new issues: bluetooth and none of sync works for the past week. I can click the ****** button and yell things to her and she just responds with you can say xxx, etc. Nothing but problems out of Sync. Will be having an extended stay at the dealership over the holidays.

The truck itself i love, the sync on the other hand needs to be removed.

Yeah I read where everyone hates sync and can't get her to do anything, one issue might be the yelling, it doesn't like "Barking" if you read about sync they even tell you that on their website. The other issue maybe your phone is no longer paired, I understand that anytime SYNC is flashed you will need to repair. My dealer told me for best results go to system settings and delete all the bluetooth devices and do the same in my phone and then repair.

I signed up @ http://www.syncmyride.com/ and downloaded the latest SYNC firmware and installed it the day I got the truck. I had to repair my phone, but it all worked fine. I am very pleased with how sync works.

I just upgraded to the Iphone 4s and repaired my new phone and SIRI works very well with SYNC, guess I am just one of the lucky ones I love my new truck and SYNC.

 

No updates last i checked for my truck.

You can speak in a monotone voice and say exactly what you want, and nothing. It's not picking up any voices at all into the mic for the past week.

Bluetooth turns itself off no matter what you do. You turn it on, it says bluetooth turned off. So without bluetooth there is no getting the phone paired. Already reset the entire thing, deleted my phone and after that bluetooth wouldn't turn back on, it had been showing it was paired for the few days before and still it wasn't really connected.

Sync has no power 50% of the time. Meaning no USB2, USB, controls don't work, etc

my dad has the exact same issues in his 2010 F250.

it is the ****** fault, she needs to get her *** back to the kitchen.

Shes working flawless today, don't know why she treats me like this. I do nothing but talk to her dirty and she ignores me for weeks at a time. Gosh i don't understand women

 

Got a check engine light this morning, going to run the codes before taking it to a dealer. Terrible timing as i have a 300 mile round trip planned friday for an offroad event.

truck is running fine though so i'm assuming it's nothing major. will update once i find out


edit: got it checked, had 2 of the same codes. p0405 which was evaporative emissions something sesnor. turned it off so ones the truck has a chance to go thru it's drive cycle we will see if it comes back on.

 

Trucks finally at the dealer.

It's getting a new sync module and a fuel hose (i think, won't have paperwork until monday or tuesday).

the service advisor (dumb as a bag of bricks) called and said well we found the issue with your back up camera, the lines were turned off. I guess he didn't listen when i told him i have to turn it back on after every few starts.


As for towing, It does it well. I did learn if i don't run cruise control towing it does much better. The truck tries too work to hard when in cruise control. Got 8.1 mpg on my way home going thru waco and college station. I did sit in traffic for about an hour of that, going to fold my windshield down on my trip to austin to see if i can pick up some MPG's.
