quick question... Wil the tpms off an 09 f150 work on a 2010? Thx for your time!

it should, there's another thread somewhere saying they changed from bands to the valve stem tpms between the 08 (band)-09's (valve stem). that's just from reading the forum so i could be wrong as i haven't researched it specifically. what's your reasoning for switching?

Yes it will work. It was more than just a mounting change going from 08 to 09. There was a frequency change.

If you read carefully, it states they are different frequencies and an 07 or 08 cannot be used on 09 up and vice versa. However there are aftermarket sensors that are the valve stem type and the correct frequency for 07-08.
Also you do not reprogram the sensors. What yo to is train the vehicle to read the specific sensors you have on the vehicle. You can confuse things by having multiple sets of sensors near the vehicle when doing the retraining process.
