6.2 vs Eco..Heres my answer
I havent posted here for a long time but thought I would share why I love my new 6.2 supercrew raptor. I did the exhuast a few weeks ago and finally got to drive with the windows down. Oh boy does it sound sweet. This is just a magnaflow 14 inch muffler and a resonator cut out of the exhaust as well..Besides an led light bar the truck is completely stock. I have seen a ton of ecoboost vs 6.2 ramblings on this board and thought I would chime in. They both make great power but on cubes make this kind of sound. I wouldnt trade my gas hog 6.2 for anything!
PS sorry for the crappy cell phone video but you get the idea!

For its break in i drove 1500 to utah and back..Best tank I saw was 16.2..Worst I saw was 13.7. In town driving it gets around 11-12. Not too bad. Almost the same as my 2005 lariat with 33's. I cant say enough great things about this truck. I almost bought a 2011 lariat limited and am glad i didnt the ride and handling of this thing far outweigh the better deal i would have gotten on the lariat.
I could hear the gas being sucked through the fuel lines from here!
LOL - j/k man. Nice truck!
I will admit that the 6.2 sounds great, but I listened to the good angel on my shoulder that told me to order an EB...

I guess a nice quiet luxurious ride don't apply to everyone.
Yes the 6.2 does sound good, congrats. If you're getting 16.2 mpg with 4.10's you're doing well, and it therefore goes without saying that a non-Raptor with 3.73's will do better. The test drives I've been on both the EB and 6.2 averaged close to the same mpg (computer readout), both on the highway and overall average. Apparently its a forbidden thing to say on this forum but the 6.2 and a similarly equippped EB (3.73 rear-end, 4x4) will get similar mileage results and will do better than a lot of the EB fan club would like to see. After test running both extensively, I ordered the Platinum with the 6.2.
