I've tried 2 different brands of 8 gig flashdrives and neither one has worked. Can the files be in folders or do they all need to be in one folder, or another option? What brand flash drives are you using? I have a OCZ Rally2 and a Verisign noname.

 

I got a cheapy 4 gig thumb drive from wallyworld, loaded about 1500 mp3's from comp. and it works great. You will have to take the time to go into each songs properties and configure the details. I have mine split into 4 different genres. The Synch will play what you tell it by the info details on the mp3. You can select artist, or genre or album.

 

Thanx - I upgraded my sync version and now it works. I also removed wma file types but Sync says it supports them so I'm going to put them back on and try it.

 

And it takes a donkeys age to load up your CD's onto the JukeBox.

Why they didn't make the Jukebox with the ability to upload songs from a USB flash drive is a mystery to me.

 

Ok so maybe I've missed something.what's the "jukebox"?

 

I download music on frostwire alot and have thousands of song on a USB stick in mine and it works just fine.

 

What would be the (dis)advantages of playing from an ipod over USB vs. memory stick?

 

I drag my songs from my iTunes folder, sit them on my desktop which auto converts them, then drag them to the USB stick.

Gives Artist, Song name, length, all standard stuff.

Lots better than Sirius Radio.

 

I loaded my music on my BlackBerry and I use bluetooth. The music is stored by song, artist, and album.
