I was notified that mine was on the rail car as of monday. I don't know where it is today but it should be here soon. I was told it was an entire batch of trucks that were made at the same time.

What ever it is things seem to be moving. It can't get here fast enough though!

Rebates will got up but never down. The rebates are based on when you order the truck not when you receive it. If you take delivery of the truck 6 months from now (god forbid) you'd still have the same rebates apply as when you ordered it even if they've expired. Just make sure your sales rep locks in the rebates. Mine printed the screen with all of the rebates on it to showed that they worked together and all would apply. If they don't get them locked in and you don't have it in writing on your truck order paperwork you may be SOL.

Shouldn't make a difference to us as our trucks are already built. It has to be something else. Ed's is a bronze ecoboost, mine is a black 5.0. Although they were both built on the same day I think.

Still sitting on the ramp awaiting shipment as of this afternoon

By the way I was told by a Ford customer service rep on the west coast that it had shipped on the 28th and would be here March 8-15. When I called 3 days later to Ford customer service rep on East Coast I was told it has been sitting on the ramp since the 27th awaiting shipment.

Also rebates are based on when you ordered the truck OR when you receive it but not in between.

I am in the same boat, however, I ordered mine a bit later. My truck was built on 09 March and was sitting on Ramp 59 until a few days ago. I originally had an ETA of the 27th now it is moved out to 04 April. It was re-released again and it is now "In transit via convoy." Considering ultimately it will be on a train headed to MN I wonder where it is going on a truck?

FWIW, I ordered a screw EB Platinum (red candy)...

Eric

How do you find the status, I've only been informed by the dealer that I ordered through is there a way I can get direct access to status through Ford?

You can call ford customer service and give them the VIN. They're very nice and helpful.

Mine is in Cottage Grove MN at the rail yard. 20 more miles to go. My son drove down to look. He said there is about 500 vehicles on the train. Couldn't see it. Getting a little pumped!

Nice! I moved from Cottage Grove to Hudson a year ago and used to hear those trains banging around at night with the right wind when the windows were open in the summer. I can relate to getting pumped since I'm getting pumped about my build date being 5 days away. Until then I'll be praying that it isn't true about the hold on Truxedo Black builds and that the shipping logistics will be ironed out in the next week or two...

Think this has anything to do with it?

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/24/r...-held-hostage/

I know Allied hauls a lot of stock for the Big 3, and if GM and Chrysler are having to pick up the slack with other haulers, Perhaps Ford is having a hard time finding space on the transports that are already out there.

Anything that is moving, is a Good sign people.

If your Sales Person can give you a rail car #, is great, that means the problem is fixed, and the the vehicle is in shipping.

Re Released, Ramp 59. means it is sitting there, collecting dust.

As I have stated "My customer's truck has been ordered "Sold" since Nov 2nd" and he is still waiting. He has been very understanding, but is now looking for answers, or atleast a call from Ford.

Atleast you can be greatful, that your Truck is built, and will get to you. With all of the part's plants, that are down in Japan, you will get your truck. I am not sure if any F 150, parts come from Japan, but everyone's products will be getting very tight, from now on.

I have 1 fleet customer, looking to buy 17 GM units. (I lost the quote 1 month ago) They called me yesterday, asking if "We could supply the vehicles" because "GM after 4 weeks cannot tell them a build date yet"

It is going to get "Nasty" in the Auto business, Mark my words.

No this didn't have anything to do with this.

Ford didnot go into Bankruptcy, and continued to pay, Allied and others. GM and Chrysler, left many Companies hanging, for Millions of $$$'s

If anything, they should be Hauling only Fords, and the Imports, so they should have more space.

And "Ramp 59" is a Rail Ramp, which has nothing to do with Allied Systems. Allied Systems, unloads the rail cars, and hauls the vehicles to the Dealerships.

Hey SkiDood.

(doo I know you from Doo Talk?)

Anyways, your Dealer can tell you, If/When/and what stage, your vehicle is in. They can tell you, if it is in line to be built and when it is in line to be built.

Once it has a "Place" on the line, it recieveds a VIN #

It can be tracked, from the Day you ordered it.
