3 inch level?

Just had a thought today...
I know the angles on a 3 inch level are harsh and bad for ball joints and what not, so could you purchase longer components from a lift kit and just replace the factory ones? So then the angles and geometry will not be as bad and there will be no negative effects from a 3 inch level. Is that possible?

The answer to that is No. You would in a sense be purchasing an entire lift kit just to try and make it work with a leveling kit; which it wouldn't.. You would need the drop basket and longer spindles which are the majority of a lift kit. If you need more than 2.5" of lift, in your case you want a 3" level kit, and are wanting to lift the truck you should seriously consider just moving to a 4" lift.

If your set on leveling the truck stick with the normal sizes 1.5", 2", or 2.5". the 2.5" is as far as I would go with a leveling kit, and that is pushing it how I view things
