Nice looking truck. But as an aftermarket dealer installed kit for 80 grand, that is ridiculous! The narrator needs to brush up a little on his facts too, this is not the first year the fx4 has come standard with the e locker and the 3.73 rear axle, and unless it has changed for the 2011's the locker is only good up to 25, not 30mph. I also think its funny he thinks they "customize" the truck because the shock boots match the fx6 logo, really?, big woop. But again it is a nice looking truck, they picked some nice rims and those ptm flares look nice too, but other than that and the auto fold steps not sure why it has an 80 grand price tag.

The package is $7,995. The truck is not $79,995. That was the package price he said. $7995.

I thought it was a well done video with some nice demonstrations.

idiot dealer.... probably just called someone and said 'hey we want some bushwacker pocket flares for an 09-11'... what they got was the HUGE version. There are 2 styles for the 09-11; regular pocket flares (like mine) that add 2" of coverage and new ginourmous ones (like that truck) that add nearly 4" of coverage...

My own opinion is if dealers are going to do this stuff at least have some one competent and up to date with aftermarket parts, as well as having good taste in design. I have never been a fan of dealer built vehicles, its much more fun and appealing to do it yourself!

And I like the one on that link, looks better than the video with the two tone, but it must be an xlt with that grille. If I hadn't already purchased my truck I would look into them.

If you want to get technical, the guy is in Canada therefore he used km, not miles. The ELD will not engage if the vehicle speed is above 20 mph (30 km/h) in 4X4 high In 4H (4X4 high), the ELD will disengage at speeds above 25 mph (40 km/h), so technically he is right at above 30 km (40) - so I wouldn't blast him for any of that.

I expected to see an F-150 dually because of the FX6 designation. FX2 is two-wheel drive, FX4 is four-wheel drive... you see why. Nice truck, overpriced package in my opinion. I think the FX6 sticker BS is just that... BS. It's vinyl you can buy about six places on-line. Another way for a dealer to mark up a truck and try to make someone think they are really getting a deal while sticking it to them... like paint protection that was basically a dealer wash job. Just my thoughts, but still, a nice looking rig.

I retract my statement. I know he said canada in the begining and I heard him say oot (out), but for some reason I heard mph and didn't put 2 and 2 together...

And Smokewagon, I was thinking the same thing. Kinda disappointed too, wanted to see a dually 150. I don't think the price is too bad though, you gotta think roughly 2000 for rims, 1500 for tires, 1000-1500 for lift, 1000 for boards, probably 500 for ptm flares. Labor to install the lift if always included (and that would be the wiggle room)..o and don't forget those nice shiney fx6 Logos..

It is new that the e-locker works in 4x4 and not just 4x4 LOW.

The locker on my 2010 works in 4hi. I've used it several times. Manual says something about being able to keep the locker locked at higher speeds in 4lo though. You have an 09 fx4, have you tried to lock yours in 4hi?

Why did they name it the first Fx6? I thought I was going to see a duelly... very disappointed... truck Looks nice and they person presenting it is talking out of his butt..

But I agree with FX4 Life. I'd rather customize a vehicle myself and get what I want and not what someone else wanted. Even though it does look pretty nice.

FX6 is a stupid name, but this is not the first dealer I have seen sporting this kind of junk. They use it to identify the amount of lift the truck has, i.e. 'FX6= 6" of lift'; dumb I know..

I have seen "FX8's" as well as these "FX6's". The dumbest thing I have seen, (on top of FX6 and FX8) and probably the most ignorant/idiot dealer, was one also selling the "FX4's" (no modifications at all) as factory 4" lifted trucks Whoever bought into that was really clueless..

Not only that some dealers make up names for the "FX" in the names, I have heard the "Fahrenheit Xtreme 4x4", "Factory X 4" and "Factory Xtreme by 4" as names for the FX in FX4. Most of these where from dealers selling stock FX4 trucks...
