And yes, the door handles need to be black, this I know.
I see you have the Ranchhand Bullnose Bumper. I'm also considering buying one, mainly for some level of deer protection. How do you like yours and what lights did you get?

r8,
They have turn signals already =)

rmrc51,
Love the bumper and would give my approval to anyone looking to buy one! The lights are from Warn, not sure of the model number but I love them.

Sweeet! I just can't do the whole tow mirror thing on mine, those things are gigantic in person! the 09-10's pull them off much better than the 04-08's, especially lifted.

take care of her blackplat, everything but the lift on mine is giving me fits right now... She must know I'm in love with the 2011's...

BlackPlatBDS, sir you have the ONLY Platinum I've ever liked, that is a very nice rig. As for the door handles and badges, unless you change/remove your 4x4 decals, I think they look good. The little bit of silver and chrome down the side gives it the right touch.

Do you guys have a lot of trouble with drive thrus, food and ATMs?? I really want them but am worried I'll have to fold them in and I just don't want to deal with that.

Also, is the puddle lamps functional. I'll be giving up my dimming drivers side option, which I love, so I want the puddle lamps at least be bright enough to be functional. Also, will that ****ion (when is f-u-c-t-i-o-n a bad word?!!) work on trucks that have just the turn signals, dimming, heated, and power function??

Thanks in advance.

I dont have any issue with clearance to reach the DT window with mine. I have more of an issue with drive-thrus that dont take trucks into consideration period. My supercrew with 6.5ft box has a turning radius of 23 city blocks.

I love my tow mirrors though. Here in Ontario, it is mandatory to have extensions or tow mirrors to put a trailer with any obstructed view where you cannot see something like 10ft directly behind the trailer. Pretty steep fine too I beleive.

But tow mirrors dont look right on stock F150s IMO.

Truck with standard mirrors on my sig.

I think the tow mirrors look fine on stock trucks. I've noticed that my SCREW has one big honkin blind spot on the passenger side. Seems to go on forever from the rear pillar thru the headrest of the back seat. Can only see that area of the lane to my right with the wide-angle mirror. I've also found the wide angle mirrors to be useless at night when backing up. I can't see anything with them. They just don't capture low light well.

What I mean on stock trucks, is that from the front profile of the truck, without a chunky tire, the tow mirrors make the truck look very top heavy.

I think the tow mirrors will look just fine, I just don't want them to keep me from fitting in certain areas as food drive thrus, Walgreen drive thrus, ATMs, and parking garages (that are high enough). I never really thought about limitations with the tow mirrors until I read that some people have issues with them. Now I'm concerned.

Thanks.

Yes, I do fold mine in occasionally at the atm. But for the most part I leave them out, (wallgreens, bk, etc.) you just need to compensate for them being there and not knock them into the drive thru window. But like Fast said, I have more problems making tight turns with my screw with the 6.5ft bed in drive thru's when they like to box you in with curbs on both sides.

I'm glad you like your truck to look like a super duty but I wouldn't want the tow mirrors just because of the looks.
