My new baby (link to pics)

Well she was a long time coming. After 13 years and 185k miles I sold my '98 F150 Supercab. She served me well but with a second child coming and some $$$ that needs to be spent on repairs I decided it's best to put that cash on a down payment. I'm not used to leather and woodgrain (a little to fancy for me) but trying to get what was left with the options my wife and I wanted was difficult. I even priced building a 2011 XLT with the options (since I'm X-Plan) and it would have been only $1k less but the problem was if there weren't any incentives when it finally came in it would actually cost more...

2010 F150 Lariat SuperCrew 6.5' bed. Platinum White, 4x4, 3.55LS, Sony 6 disc, Lariat Plus Package, 20" Wheels, Tailgate Step.

Had to drive 2 hours to pick her up as all the dealerships on Long Island here were a$$holes. Every single one of them I called try to add anywhere from $200 - $1,200 on top of X-Plan (which they aren't allowed to do). There must be some really stupid people around here since they seem to play that game a lot on the island.

Sticker $44.9k, X-Plan $40.9k. Got her for $40k even before the $4.5k in rebates. Out the door before taxes and fees $35.5k. I know in other parts of the country you guys seem to get this truck for under $30k (have no idea how) but every website I priced it at with options (Edmunds, TrueCar, etc) showed that getting it at $200- $300 over invoice was the going rate. So I think I got a deal at $1k under invoice!!!!

Anyway here is a link to her (you might need to copy and paste into a browser) as I'm having issues uploading them here.

Get the HEALEY sticker off, unless they are paying you to advertise... And take the flex fuel badge off, you will never run that truck on that crap...

Good looking truck! Get the NFAB step bars. Or the OEM ones.

Congratulations on the new ride. I don't think I've seen OEM Pirelli tire before? They all have Badyear's on the lots around here.

Thanks everyone. Now to the topic of nerf bars. I need to get a set ASAP as my 7 month pregnant wife can't get in the truck without me taking a step stool and I'm getting tired of keeping it in the truck!!!

I liked the look of the 5" oval Raptors in polished stainless but the hardware isn't stainless.

Can anyone show me some pics of their screws with non-OEM steps.

Thanks

Maybe start a new thread.. You might get better and quicker results that way.. Sounds like you need those steps like yesterday.

Congrats on your new baby on the way.. Goodluck.
