2011 5.0 f-150
I think it looks "unfinished" because it doesn't have the carburetor an air cleaner on top. I still prefer the open engine to the plastic. I didn't really like the big clunky air cleaner on top anyway.
The engine looks cooler in person. I couldn't really get a good shot of it. I'd rather see it uncovered...plus it is easier access.
and yes there is PLENTY of room for a supercharger...I'm really wondering if Roush won't bring back the F-150. They wouldn't have to do much work and they have made big numbers with the 5XR Stang

Know what ya mean. Waiting on my white fx2. White with the black heads and tails and 20s...mmm
How long ago did he order? Do you have a build date?
Greg
Will do!
I believe the started shipping them on Monday of this week. So it should arrive this week or next.
The only difference is the heads. These are cast, the mustang is aluminum. The tops of both appear to be the same so I am thinking the intake ports are the same....I could be wrong though!
i believe the main difference is the cams (and of course tuning), which i believe is how they lowered compression ratio as well (keeping valves closed longer on intake stroke?) the different cams allow for more low end torque as well for truck applications
