I didn't notice. lol..but it was getting 17 with my lead foot. haha

I did drive the 6.2 Raptor a little bit. Didn't get to test it like the 5.0, but the 6.2 was good for what I did drive it. I'd go for the 5.0 just for the better gas mileage. Either way you can't go wrong with any of the new engines, EB, 5.0, 6.2...they are all better than the 5.4 in my book

They did something with it. I never liked that with the '10s how you punch it and there is a second delay. With this one it is like the 04-08s...no delay at all.

I hard to take it for a test drive and compare it to the 2010 v8....and of course that did not disappoint. Pulls hard, shifts fast and very smooth. The power is all over on this thing. I really am wanting one now...might do something when they get good rebates this summer!

and the pics

This thing looks tiny!!
Thanks for the test drive report and the pictures,i don't think the rims look bad and the 5.0 looks cool in there.

Later Mark.

Nice pics. I'm not a big fan of twenty inch wheels, but those look great! I like the color/finish, just needs a bit more rubber around them. And yeah, the 5.0 does look a bit "unfinished" without any covers or anything, but nonetheless, very cool!

Call me old school but I never have been a fan of the covers on an engine. To me it was a waste of money and didn't allow me to look at the engine. When I open the hood I want to see the engine not some stupid piece of plastic. I like the looks of the rest of the truck. Now if Ford would only release the numbers of the ecoboost, I could decide whether to buy a truck now or wait until the ecoboost comes out.

I'd normally agree...if it had a good lookin engine That thing is ugly and deserves to be covered!! It literally looks unfinished and like they forgot to put something on the top.

Look at the bright side - plenty of space to use a supercharger as the 'cover'

OP - nice report - thanks!

I would rather see the engine than a big piece of plastic.Remember this is a COYOTE - mean, strong and ugly.
