Can anyone make this comparison from experience driving a 5.0L and also a 5.4L under these conditions:
2011 5.0L - stock
2009+ 5.4L with 6sp, a custom performance tune from VMP/Troyer/PHP, stock sized tires.
The factory 5.4L typically made huge gains with a tune and became a torque monster, just curious how the tuned 5.4L stacks up to the 5.0L engine.
Yes, the 5.0 is better than the 2010 5.4 hands down. In every way.

The 5.0 I drove would kill my 5.4 even with the tuner. I will concede that I have the 4 speed tranny vs. the 6 speed behind the 5.0 but the motor was stout from idle to redline. It is nothing like the GM 5.3 which is gutless until you rev the snot out of it then comes alive.
