Test Drove an EcoBoost F-150

I have to admit this engine is sweet!!! drove it at the LA autoshow. i was able to hear turbos whine (which sounds sweet!!) lots of power and doesnt lose power when it upshifts just throws you back in the seat!!!

well i turned the corner mashed the gas and had instant power!!! slight hesitation but nothing compared to my 06.
seemed like the turbos started kickin in right around the 2000rpm range which makes since with the torque curve starting at 1700. loved the power now i want one

I'm waiting for FORD to call me to drive one and I still haven't received the call. I really love FORD and I talk about them everywhere I go but I'm started to think that them coming to your house or work place for you to drive is all BS, but I still love them. Call me FORD.

I had an invitation from my dealer to drive one on Monday but I had to work. It was only slotted for test driving between 5-8pm and the dealer is 45 min from my house. And to make my Monday even worse, we had to dig a trench in pouring rain for a sewer connection job. I was the muddiest I have ever been in my life that night. It would have been funny if I did go though and showed up all muddy and asked to test drive. I'd say "I have to test of the interior's clean-ability as well as the new engine." haha
