Received a total of $12500 off of my 2007 fx4 in January of 2008......this was in Minnesota. Thought it was a great deal. Hope to be able to do the same in Jan of 2012 with an Ecoboost Fx4! Let us know how it works out for you!

It pretty much starts you back at zero and gives you another 6 years of payments. Lots of restrictions, perfect credit score reqd etc...

I got a letter from my dealer saying they would pay me what I paid for the truck if I bought a new one.... fine print says pay MSRP dealer retains all rebates... Not a good deal for me. Plus I bought 10k under MSRP on mine... Never believe salesmen, lol...

I received a letter that said they needed used trucks and would pay top dollar for mine. They service it. Also said they would knock off $13,000 on a new one. I did the calculations on wheat it should be in difference and went to talk to them. The $13,000 off was not on any truck I wanted, would only knock off $6500, which is a joke. Offered me $8000 for mine as it has too many miles(110,000). They knew the mileage before I went, they service it.They were about $8000 too much. I just laughed at them and said I love my truck, going to put another 100,000 on her. I would have written a check for the difference if they had just done what they said in the letter.

There's different ways to buy a vehicle but in the end, it's either a chunk of change leaving your bank account or a pile of monthly payments placed in front of you. You can swap out vehicles that are 2 model years old for minimal pain IF you bought at trade-in at the right price, IF sell or trade-in at the most and IF you can buy the new one at the cheapest price but never without some money involved.

The big thing hurting your trade-in value is the large amount of rebates Ford is offering on the 2010s. Anyways, all the best.

No Big Rebates on 2011's

I doubt you'll be getting a bunch of $$$$ off any NEW year truck.

Rebates are high on year end models to get rid of them. If you didn't pay invoice less about 5%, combined with factory incentives, you probably didn't get a good deal on a year end closeout.

There will probably always be some incentive on a new year truck, but nothing like 5000-6000.

Yeah those "ad" trucks with the $12-13K off seem to alwys be mysteriously sold. Even when the dealership opens the day the ad is placed. What a joke.

I believe it.

I was in the showroom and asked what was up with all the candles.
He said their prices have been so low, for so long, they can't pay their electric bill.
I believe it.

I asked him if he had any clothes on under that barrel and he said 'no'.
I believe it.
Was this some feeble attempt at humor?

No kidding. Although, from what I've seen on lots, they better start giving them away or the 2011s will never get shipped. There are over 100 2010s at most lots here still.
