Is there a Drivers side grab rail available on the late model F150? There's one on the passenger side, does anyone make one for the Drivers side?

thats why the steering wheel is there i cant say i can remember ever seeing a grab rail on the drivers side.

 

2004 through 2008 had them.

 

i guess i never paid any attention i always used the steering wheel being 6 6" i just kinda just step into the cab thanks for the info

I have asked about this at the dealership, they say we can't get one, because of the airbad sensor is there on the wifes 09 4x4.

my 2000 had a driver grab handle, always used it. My 2010 doesn't there is a airbag stuffed it the trim. Probable why they didn't add handle.

 

The 2001 had it too and it was great. I've had my 2010 for 9 months now and I'm still not used to having no grab handle.

 

I don't need it to get in but it was very handy to stand on the door sill , hold the handle to clean the windshield !

 

I've heard tugging on the steering wheel is bad when a buddy caught me doing it on the lifted 09' I had. I never bothered to ask why, but was wondering if anyone knows the truth to this? I've since upgraded to a new 2010 FX4 with lux package and it also lacks the driver's side grab handle. I know the SD's have them.
