Airlift on My Platinum

installed the airlift kit on my truck. rides better than before with less "bounce" to the bed. lifts the rear end about 3/4" at just 17 psi when the truck is unloaded. and even at 20psi it still rides awesome. better pics with different heights and loaded with weight comparisons to come.

Looks sweet! I'd love to smooth out some of the rear bounce in the back in my FX4.

This is a noob question, but does the airlift kit replace the rear blocks? If not, did you keep your 3 inch blocks?

I was also curious if your bilstiens helped smooth out the ride much compared to the factory shocks?

I'd have to imagine the truck is feeling great with 5100's and now the airlift rears

I didn't replace the blocks. Everything is the same as before. If I add 5-10 psi it doesn't affect the height but does smooth out the ride. Installing bilsteins today since they were on backorder, but I can only imaging the ride with improve even more

Good looking truck! What's your air source, and where did you install compressor or fill valve(s)?

Yes. No drilling or custom fabrication. 1 hour install with access to a hoist

Here's pic's of my Firestone bags and dual valves. Agree with Dubsesd, a little psi in the bags (7 to 10 psi) has improved on an already good ride. Firestone is also a no drill install, took about an hour per side using standard wrenches & sockets.
