when will 2011 hit the dealers
I asked my salesman today. He said around the new year. Its the engines which are delaying manufacturing. They need to build up the inventory of engines, because they are used in other models. I saw a couple of 2010's coming off the car carrier today.
I guess they will really be giving the 2010s away when the 2011 models come out. There are still a TON of 2010 models on lots around here. I saw a 2010 Ram quad today that was $15K off. I guess the rebate is $8500 on it. Crazy times!

And that may be but the production is scheduled to start again for Monday next week. And don't buy into the engine shortage crap. They have a 3 month supply in the pipeline already. But you may not necessarily see any for sale or on the streets until after Jan 1. I've overheard that they are wanting to help the dealers move old inventory and they may have a stop sale on the 2011's until some of the inventory sells. Honestly, I don't like to waste time "playing the purchase game", so the dealer that responds the quickest with the best price gets my business.
I agree with you rotor, I only do business with dealers who respond and give realistic pricing. Labnerd, Ford did the same thing with the 2011 Mustang GTs. The early builds were "delayed' supposedly for a QC issue. I think it allowe dthem to move the 2010 GTs off the lot because they knew they would not sell once the 5.0 was out there. It seemed to work.
