Saw 2011 FX4 today (Pics)

I live in KC and saw what was likely one of the test run F150's from KCAP. It had manufacturer plates and the number 18 taped in the driver's side rear glass. I got a chance to snap a few crappy shots with my Blackberry. Once the guy saw what I was doing he slowed down to about 40 mph on the interstate.

I noticed the HD/Raptor heads and tails, FX2 grill, and there were the little convex blind spot mirrors in the upper left corner of the side mirrors. Nothing indicating what motor and the Flexfuel emblem looked redesigned.

So it won't be long before they hit the dealers.

Im definitley a fan of the exterior upgrades they have done compared to the 10s. Im actually a little jealous they get the HD heads and tails. I had to shell out some money for my tails and im going to order the heads soon. With the new powerplant in there Ford should sell a ton of these trucks as long as they get some good advertising.

Great pics!!!

Would have been huge to get closer pics of front grille with changes.

Is it just me or do those tires look meatier than the std pirellis? Mayeb those wheels make it appear so?

Being a 2010 owner, the thing I hate about the 2011 is that I only get to have the latest and greatest for one year. At least I have something to look forward to when I can afford to buy another new one... in 2030.

I like the 20's that are on the '11 FX4's. Glad they made it available.

^no, you're not wrong, same rims. as far as front end pics, just look at the 2010 FX2 trucks but picture in your head black headlights instead of the grey ones.
