Voice Command button stopped working
Voice Command button stopped working
This morning when I got into my truck, I pushed the VOICE button on my steering wheel and didn't get a response. Nothing, nada, zip. All other steering wheel controls work. This is a 2010 Platinum with Navigation.
Any ideas? Thanks.

just for sh!^ and giggles..... the volume of the sync voice is not turned down is it?? it has its own separate volume level outside the volume of the radio. your phone setup also has its own volume as well.
This isn't a bad idea and I never even thought of that. As it turns out, when I got in my truck at lunch, all was working again. Not sure what the deal was, but I'll keep watch.
Thanks,
Steve
I had this exact same issue one day. Got in and all the other buttons worked except that one. I went to the gas station turned off the truck when I got back in boom worked like a charm. That is the only issue I have with most warranty work is if they can't duplicate the problem alot of times they can't fix it and since it only went out once I have not taken it in.
On the Sync voice when you press your sync button and it is talking just press the volume up button. It helps to do this when sync has a lot to say so I said "what are my choices" and adjusted mine.

There are three different ways you can adjust the voice volume:
• When the system is speaking, turn the volume **** to decrease or
increase the volume.
OR
1. Press the MENU hard button on
the navigation system.
2. Select the ‘Feedback Settings’
tab.
3. Press + to increase or — to
decrease the voice volume levels.
OR

by the prompt, “Please say a command.” Another tone will sound
