A mixture of 75% highway and 25% city is yielding 19.3 avg on the computer. Have reset the mpg on numerous occasions and always shows the same or within a couple 10th's after driving a bit. Winter time she drops about 3 mpg.

If they are that drives me crazy... If the US still measures in miles and gallons, leave it at that. Why take an imperial gallon and use a scale that nobody goes by? Marketing? So 25 must be about 21mpg. I still don't get close to that. The best I've gotten from it was 19.6 mpUSg driving the speed limit on the highway. But I havn't seen it since.
2010 Supercrew 4X4 5.4L 3.73
I've had the truck since March and I'm just about to turn over 6K on the miles. I've been averaging 17.5 to 18.2 MPG. I drive about 80% freeway and I'm really happy about the MPG that I'm getting!!! I was driving a 2002 Ranger 4X4 4.0L 6 and only getting 15-16 MPG!!!

update
just got through my 2nd 1/2 tank of gas lol
wasnt a full tank - 23.131 gallons and I got 351.5 miles = 15.19 mpg
on board calculator showed I was getting 16.9 (boy was I happy, but not as much now)
This was all 100% city. I really babied it this entire tank to see what kind of mpg I could get, but I'm gonna drive it normal this tank and see what the difference is...BORLA duals will be here in 2 weeks

RPMs my boy
While it might seem painfully slow, spend a tank of gas keeping the RPMs low. As often as you can try not to exceed 2500 RPM and if you have enough torque (I drive a 2007 5.4 w/ 3.73 on 18"s so hells yes there) let the shifts occur between 2000 and 2200. I can almost guarantee you a significant increase in gas mileage.
Let us know. Good Luck!
I'll add my 2 cents...
2009 Lariat 4wd, 5.5 bed, wrangler tires, 5.4l engine, Toneau cover. etc.
In the city I get and avergae of 15.6 mpg.
On the highway I can get 19-24mpg. Usually 21.2 avg.
I'm not a heavy lead foot. I try to use cruise control when i can. I try to keep it under 65mph.
I used to own a 1998 Toyota 4RUnner that would get only 15mpg. So I'm Really happy with my truck.

2010 XLT SCrew with 6.5' bed 5.4L 3.55LS 4x4, tonneau cover
4500 miles
drop in K & N
magnaflow 4" muffler SI/SO
Around town if I drive easy and keep mostly under 2500rpm's I get 14 - 15mpg
When I'm strictly highway with cruise set at 70mph - 18.1mpg rpm's are just under 2000
Pulling a 19' - 8' open bow boat (not sure of weight, maybe 3500lbs ??? ) 10-13mpg, but this has been mixed with highway and around town.
I just did a full tank with 90% cruise set at 75mph and some city and some 60mph. I'll update tomorrow when I fill up. rpm's are right at 2000. 16.2 mpg.
So 70mph is 2mpg better than doing 75mph, and I bet 65 would get me close to 20mpg, But I don't think I can handle 60-65 for a full tank.
These numbers are all calculated manually. Everytime I fill up I do my mileage. I don't write it down, just take a mental note. But I do know, when not watching rpm's my mpg is worse.

Just did a freeway trip of about 265 miles and 15 more of city driving; 280 miles and I used 14.25 gallons, so 19.7 mpg on the freeway.
The 130 miles up was no AC and cruise set at about 68mph, and on the way back it was with the AC the whole way and cruise set at 70mph.
The display was reading 22.0 by the time I arrived, and on the way back it was down to 20.9 so about 1mpg difference with the AC on.
The previous tank was mostly city driving, heavy foot, with a new bed cover and I got 15.7 calculated by hand... the previous tank minus the bed cover was just under 15, so about 1mpg better with the cover.

If you are using Costco or Arco gas, go find something else. I dunno what you have up in the bay area, but when I'm in San Diego I try to stick with Chevron, Shell, or Valero.
Less than 200 miles? Have you even PUT gas in it yet?
