I like the black rims marshall. The machined look good too but the black blends better but still contrasts with the red. Looks good! Congrats on the baby girl too. She'll keep ya busier than your truck!

I'm partial to keeping with the factory look.

Remember that if you Decide to coat them there are always going to be factors and issues with them. No matter which method you choose to paint or powder coat them, the latter being both more expensive and stronger, they will always pit, and chip from road rash, creating small shiny spots requiring touch up. You tire install guy could scrape an edge of the coating installing tires, causing you headache to get em fixed yet again. You will be more concerned about the wheel weight procedure any tire guy uses. (usually someone who doesn't appreciate your wheels like you do), and many other unforeseen circumstances.

Besides all that, I just like the factory look. Are you ever gonna put those scuffed covers back on for us?

U asked for 2 cents, i gave ya 3.

I'm not much into the all black wheel look. But I have seen trucks on here with black wheels that I do like.

I do think that the black looks good on yours.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I'm going to do another Photoshop of a dark sterling grey/anthrisite color for ****s and giggles. I'm aware of the issues eith painted/powder coated rims and havnt dealt with them before. Pitting isn't much of an issue because I don't let the iron deposits build up on the rim and the use of salt in the winter is limited to about 4 days on average.

I've been considering painting with factory colors (sterling grey or tuxedo black) so I think well revisit this when the Grabbers are mounted at the end of the month.

And no to the brushed center caps, I sold them to another party - sorry

Just read the thread. Nice stuff.
Try the rims in the color of the grey fx2 rims.

Man Marshal, you really are talented at this. Truck looks great and a good choice on the wheel cover. Any pix at night of the new lights lit up?
