It's just that all the free sources of TSBs that I've seen don't have all the TSBs, don't have the 2009+ models, or don't have the F-150. Where's the site you're talking about?

The above site is the one I found, but think we should start our own here!

It doesn't have the most recent TSB's but it's better than nothing if you don't want to pony up for the Motorcraft subscription.

There's no reason to start duplicating them here IMO, especially since you don't even have to register another account to use theirs.

But anyways I'm not here to have a discussion with you over this this is a thread for people with TSB's or that want to look for TSB's to come to, so please keep any other comments that are not useful to your self.

DjG, there is nothing wrong with his comment. It may not be what you wish to hear, but he has every right to express his opinion., as long as he does so in a proper manner. Which he did.

Hey I'm not trying to be snarky. I went to:

http://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/fullt...y=2009&m=F-150

I don't see anywhere on that page where it says "click here for more" or "you must register to get the rest" or anything. Maybe I'm totally blind which is possible.

They do have all the TSBs released in 2009 (I imagine that's what the 09- means) but there have been TSBs issued in 2010 (maybe 5-6 of them) that are not listed on that site (that I can find).

You do have to register for their forums but as far as I can tell the TSB listing isn't part of the forums.

If people that want to find TSBs find this thread, it will help them in showing that they can:

a) go to the FTE site and find most of the TSBs for free without registering

or

b) subscribe to the TSBs through Motorcraft Service for a nominal fee and have access to the most up-to-date TSBs

I just don't think that trying to duplicate information on the net is the best way to get useful information to people. There is only one correct and up-to-date publicly-available source for the TSBs and that's the Motorcraft site. Any attempt to have the exact same up-to-date info on this site may be successful for a little while but invariably whoever has access to the newest TSBs and maintains copying them over here is going to leave and then we'll have outdated information which no longer serves its purpose.

Seems like this is a relatively simple issue to get into such a discussion over but I think having our own TSB section isn't very feasible. It's a good idea but I just don't see it happening.

There is also a possible copyright issue if Ford is charging for TSB's to the public. Putting them on here may be viewed in a similar fashion as Carfax reports. It's a possible legal issue that the management may not want to flirt with.

I am well aware of the thread title and well aware of what you are trying to accomplish. I was merely responding to the one of your posts toward another member and putting out the fire before it escalated.

You have a good suggestion but as glc has stated, there may be some copyright issues involved and once we saw this thread, we started an investigation of what we could or could not do. We will comment on that as we get info.
