sultini ... What's amalgamation mean?
The process of combining or uniting multiple entities into one form.

I don't want to complain to FoMoCo but I have in the past, ...
Providing feedback, suggestions, requests for features, etc. to FoMoCo isn't complaining. It's (or should be) part of the improvement process. Not doing so is complaining.

(hand crank) As a matter of fact you probably didn't either your just acting cool ...
And you're wrong on both counts - have experience and not just acting cool.

... when it's not cool to have your arm broken cranking.
Sure it's funny 'til someone gets hurt. Then it's hillarious.

... you probably don't know the proper way to remove and change ALL the fluid and change it properly with a filter.
Have changed ATF (and filter) in trans' from Ford-O-Matic/Cruise-O-Matic to 4R70W (as well as C4s and C6s) with and without torque converter drain plugs. Pan-drop and flush. Know the diffence between (and have used) Type F > MerconIII > MerconV > MerconLV

OH! my what's this little plastic plug in the tranny pan, DUH I don't know.[/i]
It's the trans' cherry (only in the trans' pan if it's the 1st pan-drop fluid change). Actually, it's a cap (though looks somewhat like a fishing pencil bobber) that's put in the dipstick hole when the transmission is built. When the trans' is installed in the vehicle, and the 1st time that the dipstick is installed into the trans' filler tube. it knocks the cap into the pan. BTW ... TIP: When doing a pan-drop ATF change, remove all of the trans' pan bolts EXCEPT for the ones at the front. Loosen them ~½ way, place a LARGE catch/drain-pan under the trans', and lightly tap the rear of the trans' pan with a rubber mallet or dead-blow hammer. LET IT RAIN! LET IT RAIN!

I am smart enough ...
And yet you don't know when to use brake or break nor what's the meaning of amalgamation.

... I got a nice street sweeper I'd like to show you and it's not the kind that drives down the street with the big truck.
Well la-dee-frickin'-da. I once saw Dwight D. Eisenhower. He liked Cadillacs. *Yet another non-topical allusion.

From all the re(s)ponses I have read sounds like your outnumbered.
Don't care. The post was an observation/opinion (purposely exaggerated). Everyone has one, so don't expect mass agreement.

And you missed the whole point ... I've lived thru (and maintained) MOST of the FLM generations (1920s+) and saw that each next-gen' improved (more efficient, more conveniences, more power, more reliable, etc.) so while change is at 1st daunting, I would never wish for the good-o-days. (referring to my 2011 FX4 5.0L as an example) When was the last time that you had over 300+HP from a stock 302CI in a 6487Lb vehicle that got 22MPG, can turn 14.9 seconds in a ¼ mile, didn't need it's spark plugs changed every 10,000 miles, didn't need it's oil changed every 2,000 miles, etc., etc., etc. all in stock trim?. Hell, I still remember buying a *new* 1986 Mustang GT (which I still have) and at 1st thinking ... Welp now can't get any more power since it's not carb'ed and the engine is all electronically controled.

What's the matter mad because most people have your number.
Mad? "have your number"? MOST of my posts are helpful and/or provide facts. Some don't. And you of all people don't have my number.

Carry on ... Commander Cody (without the Lost Planet Airmen) over-and-out.

We return you now to those thrilling days of yesteryear and your regularly scheduled programs ...

Someone ^^^ must have had too much habanero guacamole then hooked up with a dude at stinko de mayo! That can be the only reason for the atomic level of butthurt in that post.
