GVWR is double your tow rating. You'll be at 8500 pounds ready to roll with probably over 1000 tongue weight which leaves no payload for yourself or anyone/else in the cab and bed. Adventure Manufacturing is out of business, which could be why it is such a low price. Or, maybe the previous owner found out how crappy it is to pull with a half ton.

I don't know the specs for that model, but the smaller 26' has almost 1400 pounds of tongue weight. That would be reduced by adding toys in the back, but not enough for your truck (or any half ton).

I recommend looking for a manufacturer still in business and a smaller/lighter RV, like 20'. Check out Dunes Sports as they have some pretty small ones and are inexpensive. Funfinder?

If I were to change to a different style tire or wheel would it make a difference or should I just let the idea go? Yes my original plan was to go somewhere between 18 and 24 foot but the deal is a good one even though the company is no longer operating the toy hauler is a real beauty. Guess I'll go back to the drawing board.
