hey matt at tasca ford is trying to get me a fx2 grill for my fx4 but he needs a good vin # to go off of to seach for it any help would be great thanks

 

Go to a dealer's lot?

Or search dealer inventory online if too lazy for that? Some ads have VIN's.

 

Just look back a couple days at the 2009-2010 forums and you will find one or two people that has posted their window stickers or Vin#. I take it your not a daily reader.

 

you need a VIN# to buy a part? ghey.

you need to go back to the 03 forums and the guy at tasca told me that they do a seach by vin on stuff not yet in the computer but never mind i will get it worked out thats for all the help

 

kind of hard to read those vin's. what we do here is when you like a grille or headlamp or a mirror for a brand new truck that just came out is we will take the vin and run it through Ford's Bill of Materials List for the vehicle. That will give us the part number break downs for everything on it well before the parts catalog is updated. So if we can get a viable VIN for a FX2 then we can price the grille.
