Pricing

Anyone have a rough estimate of how much the 4" rancho lifts are for the 09 f150's? I have a 04 with a procomp stage 1, but my dad wants a 4" rancho on his 09 platinum. We know how much tires and rims are. I was just wondering if anyone had the Rancho lift recently installed and how much it was.

You're probably into it for $2000 for the lift and shocks (depending on which ones you pick) not including installation. Wasn't too hard to get the part numbers off Rancho's site and throw them into Google to get a guesstimate at the price.

Well I could have guesstimated if I wanted a guess. Im trying to get actual prices from people that have gotten one installed.

Well perhaps someone will reply - I haven't seen anyone with that lift yet.

Rancho sucks! Really you want to lift it 4"? The most you will clear is 35's. You could throw a 2.5" spacer in there and accomplish the same thing for alot cheaper. Oh, I forgot. I'm talking to a WLB.

yeah but then he would scrub and an actually suspension lift looks way better than just a leveling kit.

I agree but an overpriced Rancho kit sucks compared to what you're rolling on. Your rig is nicely put together.

A 6" would make it to tall to fit in most parking garages. So the 4" would fit nicely. Still gives the looks, and has a better ride IIRC.

i'd really like to see a lifted truck that rides better than stock. ive only rode in a few, and even though they look BA, they all rode like crap. you could drive over a quarter and tell if it were heads or tails

My lift in my last truck rode different, but really only the rear. I had a full leaf system, so I attribute it to that. The front didn't ride much different.

I laughed so hard, I had to dry my eyes before I could read your response.

^ Most worthless comment in the thread, has nothing to do with what the OP asked. Can't you come up with something more intelligent, or at least something different to say? You fail... again.

I've only heard good things about the Rancho 4" lift, but that's been for the 04-08 trucks. Depending on the parking garages in your area, even a 4" lift might be too much. I recently went into a parking deck in Baltimore that had 6'6 clearance signs and I had to push them out of the way. I cleared the lowest beam (according to the attendant) with about an inch to spare. I'm only running a 2" leveling kit and ~34.7" tires. If I had the 4" lift, no way would I have fit.

Most of the garages around Raleigh have 6'8 clearance signs, not sure even then if I'd be able to clear with the Rancho lift or not. That's one of the main reasons I've held off, plus I've got other things to put that money towards. Plus we take my wife's car when we go downtown, just makes things alot easier.

Have you tried calling Rancho directly, or one of their authorized dealers? They should be able to help.
