That is what I originally wanted, there is a system MBRP (or something like that) that does that but I thought the price was much higher than the magnaflow systems.

I've got the same kit. I have the same droning problem. I also have a buffering noise at about 1800 rpm that is driving me crazy. Kind of like when you have the windows open and the seat belts make a buffering noise. Are you getting the same noise? Thanks,

I don't think so, but I know of the type of noise you are talking about. Speed limits are 70 mph around here, which means I do 80mph......meaning the motor is usually over 2000rpms.

that is a known noise in fords, solved in oem exhausts with the size of the muffler and that cancellation weight[they were on 97-03's] on oem tailpipe-don't know if they were used on the 04-10'sbtw-my brother has a corsa, zero droan in his cab even when pulling his travel trailer

well I was all set to buy this kit but I can't tolerate drone...btw, there's a 2010 on youtube running what I believe to be this system and it sounds great.

on a related note an employee of mine just had a system welded in (dual out with magnaflows) and he has some drone as well so who knows....

Zero drone in the cab? Does that mean it drones outside?

Edit: Also, just to clarify, it doesn't drone all the time, just during a certain thottle position and rpm. Example: Going down the hwy at 65mph and slightly accelerating it drones.....or slight throttle increase while going up a hill will make it drone. Not to be confused with a flowmaster 40 series drone in a mustang GT which drones all the time at almost any speed.

Thanks, that's mine. The only time there is any drone in the cab is when I'm going up a steep grade on the expressway, I'm assuming it will be more noticeable when I'm pulling my trailer...but it is actually pretty quiet when just cruising around. I constantly find myself stepping on the gas a bit harder then necessary just so I can hear it a little more.

cool, good to know. A little drone at a specific rpm is not the end of the world.

I just spent the afternoon installing my Magnaflow 16518...if you want details let me know. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about drone issues. All I have to say is I'm very happy. Yes...some drone when changing certain rpms and going up steep grades, but nothing to complain about. Overall the sound is awesome. I would recommend this kit to anyone interested. I'll try to post pics and a sound clip in a few days.

Have a shop bend these tailpipes to your preferred angle.

Funny you should say that. I have about 1000 miles already on my exhaust and I noticed yeserday and today going to/coming from work that my exhaust sounded a little quieter, but I thought maybe I was going crazy becuase typically exhaust get louder as they break in.
