Modification Advice?

I have an 09 F150 XLT Screw, Short Bed, 5.4L. Would like to make some modifications, but would like advice on importance, if anyone else has made these modifications and price.
1.Overhead/Portable DVD w/ install $1299(Audiovox)
2.3M Paint Protector along rocker panels w/install $300
3.Magnaflow siso w/install $700
4.Intake w/install $329

Just be aware that some 5.4L tend to run lean with an aftermarket intake. You may need to get a custom tune to correct this and to see ant performance gains.

Thanks for the advice. This is not a mod I need but was at the recommendation of the vendor who would install the exhaust.

If you are going to get an exhaust I recommend getting an intake as well. One without the other will not net much gain in performance as compared to doing both. I have an 08 which is being traded in for a 2010 Harley Davidson Edition which I did a set of true dual exhaust on and a Banks cold air intake. The two mods together were impressive. I had a custom exhaust shop cut into the crossover pipe coming from the drivers side of the engine and run 2 new pipes with 2 Magnaflo mufflers mounted vertically in the stock muffler space into 2 tailpipes. The sound is amazing ! I used to have an 05 which I had a K&N Cold air intake on and thought I liked it until I tried a Banks on this 08 and I was blown away with how much better the Banks is. I will only use Banks from now on, thats how good it was. hope I helped

From your name i guess you ride? If so then perhaps the bike bed fork bracket mod.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not an expert when it comes to these mods, so I need to hear from people with first hand experience. It sounds like you have a dido set up. Would it be any different with a siso set up and the intake...if so how would it affect performance.

I like the set up...thanks for the pics. Yes...I ride for fun and race xc. I just sold all my yakima gear and would like to figure out what to get for the truck. I have an access cover and was going to get a hitch carrier. How many bikes total could you get in your bed with your system? Was it easy to install?

Hey...I forgot to ask about the cargo management system. Where did you get it? How does it work? Cost?
Thanks

It seems like most people agree that a cai does nothing without a custom tune, and very little with it. Also, filters that use oil are not recommended. They can damage the mass air sensor. Most of these filters will not filter as well as your factory one.

I have nothing to back this up just what I have read on here over the years.

You could get 3 bikes in the bed without troube if i fitted a center fork clamp. Maybe for if the left and right ones were a little more outboard. I fitted them little more inboard so that the bars wernt hanging out past the side of the truck and causeing wind noise. They were pretty easy to install but took about 2 hours in all. Just need the correct fittings.
