Hi all, first time poster!

I've registered just to get the scoop on the 2010 FX2. I have an 07 Mustang GT and twin 2 years olds - Nuff said. I'm really digging the F-150 and was leaning towards a Platinum. I like the FX4 but not a big fan of the ride quality of the 4x4 and since I'm stationed in Georgia, there is really no need for 4 wheel drive. After a test drive of a Platinum this weekend, my salesman gave me a brochure and while flipping though I noticed the FX2. I think this is the truck for me and can't wait till its released, which doesn't look like anytime soon unfortunately. At least this gives me time to save and build more equity in the stang. Looking forward to hearing more about the FX2 in the coming weeks/months.

Thanks. Good to be here.

It sucks ford is waiting to release this truck. On the flip side it is probably a good thing in my case, because if this truck looks awsome in person I will be coming up with some way to get this truck. Than my wife will drop the axe, and than I will resent her. thanks for all the info screwbuilder!

Anyone know details on the FX2 suspension. I've been checking it out in the 2010 brochure but their is no mention of Sport suspension or anything. Is the suspension the same as the other 2wds? Is it mainly just an appearance package like the 04-08 FX2s?

Thanks. Even though I'm not in the market for a new truck and am overly excited to see what the new FX2 is going to look like.

A local dealer here ordered an FX2 for me with no deposit or paperwork which means I will get the first call to see if I want it or not. The dealer ordered it exactly to the specs that I requested. 5.4 ltr, tuxedo black, leather, 20's,

Sales manager told me that it would be completed the week before Christmas, not the best time to purchase a truck but I will only buy it at my price = invoice minus incentives and if I don't get it from them I will get it later in the year at my price when they are sitting on lots and 11's come out.

The dealer called yesterday to tell me my order has been pulled for production so I hope to have the truck in a few weeks. But who knows I've heard this story before. They offered me a Lariat for pretty much the same money if I didn't want to wait anymore but it's been this long so what a few more weeks? And I think the FX2 will be a great looking truck and I should have the first one around here.
