OP, great question!
My previous '05 and '07 trucks were oxford white. The white can be very dirty and look clean. It's a very forgiving color, terrific for a daily driver. The downside is that it's white. You can apply all the wax or polish you can stand, but the depth and reflection will be so slight.
I bought an '09 KR in Royal Red and love it. It's a weird kind of metallic red. In shade, it looks like burgundy but put it in the sun, and the metallic paint sparkles. I really like it. Nice change from a white. Downside is dirt becomes apparent easier. But the nicer point is you can see depth and reflections on the paint if you wax/polish it.
Overall, I think a KR in white looks great and so it does in Royal Red. With those two colors, you can't go wrong. Whichever color makes you smile more, buy that color.
