Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender Flares

Here are a few pictures of the new flares installed on the truck after painting them to match. I had to drive in the rain the day after installing them and could definately tell they will make a difference in keeping the truck clean.

I like the OEM look of these. How much extra cover do these provide?

They claim they will cover an additional 1.75" and I think that is about right. I think they will provide just the right amount of coverage with my wheels and tires.

Sounds about right.

I didn't like having to put mine on but I am liking them better and I get a lot of compliments on them from people.

Looks great! I may need to grab a set. Did you paint them or you had them painted. Was it a pain to put them on?
thanks

Geff,

Can you provide details on where you purchased and maybe the part number? I searched online and found a few retailers, but they didn't show an option for the 09 F150 (but they did for the 09 F-250).

Thanks!

I had them painted at a local body shop. The hardest part of putting them on was removing the original flares. Do yourself a favor and buy a trim removal tool and be careful as it is easy to scratch or dent the fender area. Of course the new flares will cover it, but you don't want to give rust a chance. Here is a shot of what it looks like with them removed, I wasn't expecting all the fasteners around the outside of the fender.

I bought mine from www.AutoAnything.com If you are patient, they run regular promotions on the site. They offer free shipping and often have discount codes available. I think I paid $349 for mine.
