just installed HIDs from retro-solutions
DeereGeff, those shots look good but the line on the building gives the illusion of a cutoff and reduction of glare that I am fairly certain is not as pronounced as it is perceived to be. If you look closely the enlightened area is near/just below that line on the building and then a good 2' above it is where the glare begins to diminish. Glad you are happy with your purchase but I want to see some wall shots pre and post HID drop-in kits and then people can draw their own conclusions.
For the record I am not totally against other people using HID kits, it's just not for me. It is misleading to claim they deliver the same results as projectors, and unfair to the uneducated buyer.
Very well put. I was thinking the same thing, I just couldn't figure out how to word it.

i wasnt trying to mislead....im just saying dont wait around for 2 years to see if they make a projector housing for these trucks..enjoy the benfits of seeing better at night NOW and if you want to get projectors down the road go for it....just look at the pics of me driving at night...nobody has flashed me so far...they look amazing....very escalade-ish and the pics dont do justice....is the cutoff perfect...no, but its damn good compared to other trucks/cars ive seen for being the stock housing....
