We have to make this an official forum rule. Please do not post that you bought this or that without pics. Wait until they detail it then post a thread, lol

2WD Lariat Screw starts at $35k MSRP, so $28k + TTL would be good. Any equipment more is great!

Also, some people mistake the Supercab for the Supercrew, another $2700 less. More details on this would be great!

Bad economy, fuel prices on the rise since March, bankrupt (but government funded) competitors slashing prices to intice customers, etc etc makes me think Ford dealers don't want to get stuck with inventory. So they are unloading them quickly, and at a severe discount. When the economy does recover, you won't see such heavy discounts. On the flip side, because of the heavy discounting on the new truck price, the depreciation will be very steep. If you can manage to buy one with 20% off the sticker, a year or two later, the depreciation will probably be 40%-50% off sticker. Give it time, you'll hear rants how these trucks can't hold value and scores of F150s owners looking to trade will be severely upside down.

Anyways, to the OP, where are the pics???

BoT - That's what many folks were guessing about the '05's back when I bought my new Lariat 4x4 Screw and Ford, GM and Dodge were having serious rebate discount wars...all the talk was about no resale value and yet after 4 years of ownership I still got $18K for my trade (that retailed at $39K and (IIRC) I paid in the neighborhood of $32K)...I think in general you have a point...but it really depends on other factors like how the economy is doing when you are ready to trade, etc....as we have seen - nice used trucks are bringing somewhat of a preimum right now as new truck sales have been down...best of both worlds for the customer right now Good time to step up into a new truck for sure

OP - great to have you here and in an '09 - you are going to like it...and pics please!!
