I do not own an 09, but I was on the lot and seen and STX without the reflectors but it still had a spot for them. Instead of the reflector there was a plastic piece to cover up the whole. This may be another option for all you guys with reflectors that want to remove them.

I figured I had better check the price on the reflectors before I attempt this and break one.

Right: 9L3Z17E748BA MSRP $12.20 Your Price $8.05
Left: 9L3Z17E749BA MSRP $12.20 Your Price $8.05

^I see you got the part numbers for the reflectors. Are there part numbers for the plain black inserts that are found on the STX mirrors as mentioned by jrbhc8?

They are the part numbers for the orange reflectors, not the plain black inserts.

where did you get these part numbers?

On the back of the reflectors, I have this:

Driver's side: *L34-17E749-B*W
Passenger side: *L34-17E748-B*W

I got the part numbers from Domenic at Tasca Ford Parts. I gave him the VIN number of my truck and those are the part numbers he gave me.

So if we had the VIN from an STX could he find the part number for the plastic black inserts? I am betting that a ton of people would buy replacemnets for those ugly orange refletors and if the reflectors are only $12 a pop the plastic tabs should be about the same.
