Frontier Gear Grille Guard

http://www.frontier-gear.com/html/Fo...GGGallery.html

Has anyone gotten one of the yet? if so, can the tow hooks stay or do they have to be removed. it LOOKS like it attached in the front on each side of the license plate. any experience?

I has one of these on my 06 KR and loved it. fits the contours VERY well.

input appreciated

I wouldnt put that thing anywhere near my truck let alone on it. It covers up the front of the truck so much ya can hardly see the front end anymore. Unless you need this for a reason then i would stear well clear from it.

There are 2 gaps right where the brackets are in that pic but there's nothing in them. Just empty space. I guess they just bolt onto the sub frame then that gaurd fit to the brackets.

ZING!!!

I agree, some grille/brush guards are decent looking, but that one's kinda fugly IMO. But again, to each his [or her] own. However, I think we can all agree you made the right choice regarding the type of truck to get.

Totally agree. But to each his own. Perhaps there are brackets it comes with that go behind the front end, and then the two pieces bolt together to stay on? Dunno.

I think it looks pretty good.

The Ranchhand is pretty good looking too, more like their Super Duty style...

i agree. i tend to like the frontier gear becasue it follows te slope of te front grille while the ranch hand is almost completely vertical. but theyre both great grille
guards

I was looking at getting a Frontier guard for my truck but never did. I think they look much better than the Ranch Hand for the 09's. I say get it.
