How do you like the silver? I've been thinking strongly about that color for two reasons. First, it's easier to keep looking great, just like my Arizona Beige '04. My '97 & '98 were burgundy - as beautiful a color as it is, it's a lot of work to keep it looking that way. Secondly, the Platinum (which I would get) has that satin chrome applique thingy on the tailgate. I like the idea behind it very much, but it's kind of odd looking with any color other than silver. Anyone who unsure what I mean, just check out some pics of Plat tailgate's in other colors, and then in silver.

Screw-Me-05, I'm pretty sure that both portions light up. Pretty sure I saw a pic of one at night and there were two lit sections. If I can find it again I'll post it here, or at least leave a link since I think you can't copy/paste, only use what's in the galleries which is a pain. Then again, I'm sure fish can go outside, press his brake pedal and let us know.

What kind of mpg's have you been getting?

 

I love the silver. I had 2 silver trucks then a black one and back to silver now. I didn't want 2 tone but took it as they found a truck that was exactly what I wanted other than the 2 tone.

I'm getting 15-16 mpg in combo city and highway, and I acclerate pretty hard and drive 80. If I took it easy, I'm sure it would be better.

I'm 100% pleased with this truck. I think I wrote this before, but this is only the 2nd truck I've ever bought that I liked this much and didn't have anything I would change after a couple months.

I'll look at the brake lights tomorrow, no idea if they both light up or not.

Beautiful truck! Exactly the same options i'd look for. I can't stand all the chrome on the '09 Lariats and will go with the FX4 now.

How does the Nav system have current radar? I'd be very interested to hear about it.

Are you the same "fishnfool" on TBH?

 

All of the current stuff inlcuding weather radar, fuel prices, etc is a function of sirius travel link. It is a free service for 6 months, not sure how much it costs after that.

I'm not sure what TBH is, so I guess not??? I do use this name on most of the websites I'm on.
