I thought someone already posted here, or it was on the blueovalforums, that a Platinum with every option available topped out at $50k MSRP (USA).

That's what I thought too, there's just no way they would try selling those @ 70k

Even at $50k I rather buy a loaded F350. Solid dana 60 axles too!

IT IS NOT 70k. This is a typical case of the telephone game gone wrong.

Don't feed the beast.

But damn, I must admit...that interior makes even the nicest 08 F150 look like a cheap import truck. That interior looks unbelievably nice...quality materials all over the place! It reminds me of a BMW big time.

Man I know it's trivial, but I really like the fact that that rear floor mat covers the whole floor. Thats one thing that bugs me about my wifes FX4 is the tiny little rectangle rear floor mats that are useless. We always end up getting mud/sand/dirt in the back when we bring people anywhere.

Looks like Platinum pricing is = $50735 with a $1000 Lariat premium discount making it $49735

BMW? Was there another truck I missed in those pictures? I agree the interior is nice, but it's not BMW nice.

Yeah. Not even close. It's just got a bunch of that silver plastic, fake-*** looking wood, and that cheap plastic all over the doors. I love Fords, but they are no where near BMW quality interior. That comparison makes me laugh.

I have to agree. The interior looked nice, I like the colors and layout, but I don't think the quality of materials, except for maybe the leather seats, is any better than my 08 Lariat. A few areas concerned me: 1) The plastic handle on the interior of the door, the one you use to pull the door shut, was all scratched up already. 2) The brushed metal trim near the center console had scratches all over the place too.

I don't like all the brushed metal everywhere, especially on the steering wheel. While I was sitting in the truck, I was getting some sun reflection in a few places, could be very annoying.

Yup!, You sure can, with a 6-speed tranny to boot!...........

The wood is real, the silver is real brushed aluminum, and it's max price is just under 50K. I ordered one with everything on it, now it's just the waiting game!

Wood trim looks awful, if thats real wood that looks more pathetic then a number of vehicles I can name with fake wood. Hope it looks better in real life, b/c it looks horrible in those pics.

Yep, not only is it the same exact thing that tons of us have had trouble with on our current models, but it also still doesn't even have defrost! Pretty lame, especially since you MUST get the power rear with a Platinum, no solid glass w/defroster. You have no choice but to again get the power rear w/NO defrost AND hope it doesn't stop working or only work when it wants to just like the current ones.
