Is the 6 speed from the Navi/Exped, or is it a slightly different/upgraded version? Smooth tranny but it definitely needs a good tune like from SCT, that tranny seems to always be shifting and slow to react like it doesn't know what gear to choose sometimes. Friends Navi is like that and others said the same thing.

Then go buy a Tundra. You'll have a whoping 11 more max Torque, and at 3500 RPM the Ford will have much more torque.

This new F150 is gonna tow like mad. With custom tuning and the 6 speed, it'll be damn fast too.

Not as bad as I was guessing, a little less hp, a little more torque. Overall I think the truck will be much quicker though, with the 6 speed.

Did I say anything about the Tundra, or even liking one? Go annoy someone on some other forum. Clearly the 6.2L is coming... I may choose to wait for it. If for some strange unexplained reason that bugs you, then go refill your meds... Leave me alone.

Obviuosly this thing will tow much, much better than the current F-150. If its fast? We'll find out. Thats not my issue.

Tundra, thats the last full size I'd buy. Some people...

Trucks were never meant to be fast, and in any other right than their own, they will never be fast. Take a car that's half the weight and tuned with the same amount of horsepower, and you've just blown the truck out of the water. Don't buy a truck if you want "fast."

Sorry to say, but the Tundra is not fast. Go drive one.

Well I don't know about that, I like the F-150 better but the Tundra is pretty damn quick, if Tundra isn't fast then F-150 is a Civic in reverse. My buddies CrewMax ran 14.7 stock in heat/humidity at Moroso here (well did come with whatever dual exhaust Toyota put on at dealer, but its damn near silent, nothing like Flows or Magnaflow etc), thats pretty f'n quick for a heavy *** stock truck. Regular cabs running low 14's and touching high 13's. I'd still choose the F-150 though.

Are they Viper fast, no, definitely no slouch though.

Those numbers aren't bad. Maybe we can get some optional 4:10 gears, a 6 speed with 4:10's would be really nice. Aren't those numbers for the GM's with the 4 speed? The 6 speed should really wake up that vortec max.

doesn't matter its crank horse power.

tell the lightning enthusiasts that trucks aren't supossed to be fast. tell all the offroad racers that trucks aren't supossed to be fast, ect.
I have an f-150 because that truck rules the offroad. no truck baja's through the desert like a ford................................

also the more gears you have the more hunting(searching for the right gear) you will have that is the tranny doing it's job. i'm sure lots of tunning companies will be making tunes to solve it. this truck is sounding more and more awesome.
