1A Tech, I think a lot of people agree with you. Listen to these posters:

“I don't like what I see at all here......"

"Sorry. Did Ford hire some ex-dodge designers??"

"I think I'll hang onto mine till the next generation after these ugly ones.”

Oh wait, that was what the forum was saying about the '04 spy pictures four years ago. Now everyone likes it. Wait for at least some more pictures and information, or see it in person, before you bash it, guys.

Im sorry if this is a repost but I read through 4 pages and and tired of reading. There was only one new pic shot of the truck. That is the uncovered truck. The rest, are OLD! Weve had discussions on the dash and Im pretty sure the consensious (sp??) was that it want real. If it is indeed the acutal dash, I freakin hate it. It is the most cluttered looking stupid thing Ive ever seen. I dont think Ford would do this. Nowdays, they are going to like touch screens and stuff. What about the NAV modles, if theres going to be one, where are they going to fit the screen? Like I said in my last post, hopefully they just threw this thing out there and those ugly *** tail lights wont actually make it to the showroom. If they do, along with the dash, I plan to keep my 04 running for a very long time (or maybee Ill trade it for an 08 since they should be pretty cheap at end of year!)

EDIT ^^^ See! I should have read on to the last page. Oh yeah, I think the EXPY looks better than the new 150 too. But, Ill wait for some more pics.

If they give me more power and a 6-speed automatic, I don't care how it looks, I'm probably going to buy it.

It almost appears the pic has been distorted a bit. Maybe stretched. It just doesn't look like the front wheels are perfectly round to me.

what's under the metal is probably the most important thing...

Ford's in the financial pits folks so I can see the boys in Mo' town trying to save a few bucks. To fend off the Tundra, I think Ford's going to have to up the ante with mechanical improvement with more than just a 4spd tranny and the 5.4L Triton and save their money on the "cosmetic" stuff. Let's see what comes out at the motor show about that cause there's all sorts of Diesel and other stories out there. Tranny is my biggest beef with the F150 currently, cause we'd get fuel economy and driving performance improvement there.

From driving the '07 Tundra myself, I can tell you it's one fast ride and it's got better mileage due to the tranny. The interior sucks though. GM's 5.3L V8 with the cylinder shut-off feature feels underpowered until you really goose it and then it moves finally, eventually, sort of... The Cheby interior is as good as the Ford's though (and better in the LTZ trim level than the Lariat IMHO).

This just makes me a happy camper that I got the last year of the 04-08 lineup. My screw fits in the garage, the new sheet metal isn't going to undermine the trade values that bad and all those flippin buttons on the new interior would drive me nuts (and I'm a technology guy)!

It looks a lot like all the rest of the full sized trucks I see on the road today.

Wouldn't it be nice if Ford would "step up" and stand out from the rest of the full sized trucks? I mean, common y'all, full sized trucks from all designers are very similar.

Kinda makes me sick.

That's exactly why I bought my 04 Heritage VS the newer body style Fiddy. Those seats suck more than the seats in my wifes old KIA.

If I were a bettin man ....which I am ...I would bet that the version we are seeing is the new " mega-cab " version that has been discussed in numerous other posts.
