Be careful, that stuff is VERY sticky, you probably already know that but if you plan on re-using your dash it may be impossible to get off...I used this stuff to fill in the gaps on the back wall when installing my system..got a little on my hands and nothing would get it off, I tried everything. 2 weeks later, I finally got all of it off by continuing to pick my hands to death. Again, I'm sure you already know this, just trying to offer some advise, wear gloves
but any-who, sounds like a cool idea, can't wait to see the finished product, keep us updated with pics.........and nice to see I'm not the only person up this late surfing this site

o and just so you guys know the foam is to make a mold of how i want the console to look on the out side but the foam will be removed so that it can house a 12" sub, possibly ported, this will hopefully leave me with a mold to make more then one (as long as i dont have to destroy the mold getting it off the fiberglass) so if people are willing to pay enough to make it worth my time i will make them for you guys(of coarse that is if i am satisfied with the results)

I have never heard of using this stuff to make a mold, please take lotsa pics.
I use to build lambo kit cars, the mold process was:
meguiars mold release wax
then gelcoat
1 layer of 3/4 oz fiberglass ( to prevent pattern transfer )
2 layers of 1 1/2oz fiblerglass
1 layer of 10oz mat
fiberglass wood bracing for strength
repeat process if the mold is going to be used frequently.
felt also works very well
