2004 F150 Spy Pics

These were emailed to me a couple weeks ago. Ordinarily, I do not post this kind of stuff, as it tends to be copyrighted. It did come from a reputable source (though the second pic looks a bit Photoshopped by the rear wheel), but if it does violate someone's copyright, please contact me and I will remove it.

Update...I removed it.

To view the spy pics, please visit one of the following sites that has the legal right to display this copyrighted material...I will try to find direct links shortly...here you go.

Thank you for understanding.

It looks like the same nose as the '03 Expy.

Hard to tell what it will be like with the camo covering on it.

The one in that pic seems to be a (high off the ground) 4X4 with small wheels. It's kind of scarry to think of what it might look like based on thoes shots. I'm thinking that the new Expy is looking pretty good. It's growing on me. I hope that the next gen does the same. I'm eagerly waiting!

I just noticed something that might be a clue as to what that thing might look like. It has the same mirrors that are on the 03 expi. I test drove that thing and it has this huge square mirrors. They would take some getting used to. The head and fog lamps appear to be shaped the same also. I wouldn't be surprised that it will take on the look of the 03 expi, but my big curiosity is, will it have the same suspension as the expi? hmmmmm

I think this is a trick-

Guys,
This looks like a Dodge Ram Test mule, with some Expy Mirrors grafted onto it.

Ford's taking a big chance changing what is the second sweetest nose on a truck today. (Sorry, I love Ford's but that new Ram nose is the winner, hands down in my book)

Admittedly, the 03 Expy is growing on my- who knows, by the time this 04 drops- we may all like the 03 Expy's front end too.

I hope Ford doesn't drop the flareside!
Had one, loved it!

If all the rumors are correct, it looks like Ford is bringing all the trucks and suv's together with the same look, instead of the f150 look, suv look, and F250 and up look. Kind of a Tonka, F 250 cross. I think I like it, but only time will tell. I'm hoping to get the new style with the 4.5 Litre diesel.

If you look at the second pic closely at the grill, it appears to look like an xplorer sport grill! Maybe they're leaning towards that

Looks like round headlights, nice! Its about time for a new look, I understand that Ford has to be careful with its f150 lineup as they dominate that market and dont want to mess it up. I liked the look of the Dodge all up unitl I saw it from the side, the front has a huge look to it and then the front side disapoints. The new Expy looks nice, I assume thats were the f150 is going, I also liked it when the 150,250, and 350 all looked the same, BIG!

The new truck will look more like the Tonka design. I'm sure there will be some hints from the explorer but several spy shots have shown a much larger grille, which the expy doesnt have. Ford said it would look more like a superduty...
