Pull the release out and lift the pedal with your toe.

Just finished up the struts and outer tie rod with my brother this weekend. I think everything went well. We put lock tight on all threads for struts. put weight of the vehicle no the lower control arm before torquing down. we did have to slightly turn the bottom of one of the struts to make it fit. not sure if that's normal? For the outer tie rods, measured the same before and after install. greased up. Trying to get an appointment for alignment tomorrow.
