Well got 7 outta 8 done. Third plug change by me on my 2007 5.4 3v.
I was removing the back passenger coil and noticed it had alot crap on top and around it.Turns put whatever the hose above the spark plug hole had a VERY slow drip. The more I tried to get the stubby impact in there the more it would would drip. I think it maybe antifreeze.
Can someone confirm what hose this is and if its something I can swap out. There is a fitting and a aluminum fitting and a disconnect like the fuel line has but twice the size.
Btw motor was hot when plugs were removed. I just could not get the Aircat Stubby impact on the last plug. When I tried to adjust that hose the drip happened right at the metal fitting. Any tips / advise

Reason: better info
Ok so it is a heater hose So the heater hose has a very very slow drip at the aluminum connection in the pic. Has anyone replaced this before? Any how to's or tips. It does have a quick disconnect too
Ok ordered it from amazon. Oem too $48. When I have the old hose out gonna try to get that final #4 plug out using the Aircat stubby Fordmakeuloca says to use. I am stumped how he says it works with the hoses about the cylinder hole. Gonna work at it with a hot motor. So if I take the gose off hot will it be a river of antifreeze? Any tips woth that.
Anyhow, worse case I need to use a rachet by hand. Hopefully being the 3rd time the plugs were changed out and each set was the current plug.
Yes, you'll get a river of nice hot antifreeze that will burn your hands, arms, and possibly face. Something I don't advise, unless of course you like getting hot coolant burns all over. What I do recommend is getting a petc0ck installed and run the engine open circuit style going back into the reservoir with another hose off the spigot so it doesn't build pressure.
As far as that #4, it's worth a shot with the stubby. I got one myself and it has proven itself on this motor.
I wanted to follow back up in case anyone else needs to do this. With the motor cold i opened the pet**** and drain the radiator. I found 11" long 90 degree bent needle nose pliers works perfect to disconnect the quick disconnect. Just keep twisting and pulling while pressing the pliers and it'll come off. Make sure to take the old quick disconnect off it will stay on. Putting on is simple.
With this motor still cold I couldn't get my stubby impact in #4 to get the plug out. So I used a 18" 3/8 drive flex head rachet with the otc 6900 and a 3" extension. Came out easy. Below is a pic of the $48 heater gose on amazon and the most current plugs. They were $125 at auto zone. Hope this helps.
