07 F150 battery light after new alternator and battery

Now I'm a little frustrated here and I could use some help please and thank you.
I have a 07 F150 Stx 4.6
My battery died the other day. and it was a 2 month old battery I could get a jump and it would be ok for a while
But then it started acting weird like the entire instrument cluster would shut down like the truck was turned off. I couldn't shift gears or anything but the truck would still be running.
SO I drove it to Advance and they assured me that the Battery was bad So I got a new one. had it tested again and they said that the Alternator was bad so I bought a new one and installed it and a new serpentine belt.
It drove fine for about 15 miles but then the Battery Light came on again.

I have no Idea what it could be now. I have replaced the battery and the Alternator what else is left?
The battery gauge is staying right around 1/2

could anyone point me in the right direction please

Get a DMM and start the truck. Test the voltage at the battery and see what it says. It should be around 14.1V.

If it shows something like 11 or 12 volts, you know there is something wrong with the charging or the voltage isn't getting to the battery from the alternator causing that code.

my 2008 5.4 Gen light has been on for the last 3 yrs.,no problems!!! it's a ground wire or something stupid, as long as your gauge is in the same spot don't worry about it.
