Hey yall, I am new to the site but I need some help. I got a bed extender from a friend who used to have a 07 ford and cannot figure out how to get it onto my 07 ford. I have ordered the bolts from online and am still missing something.

It looks like I am missing something to receive the screws. (pics attached)

 

There should have been a thicker piece of metal behind the panel that you bolt the hinge pin in.
I wonder why your's is missing...
