Door de-tent replacement

Has anyone replaced one of those de-tents I believe they are called, or as Tasca calls them Door Check Arm?

Mine has a small crack in the circular part that connects to the door, causing a cheap plastic sounding clunk when opening and closing. Figured I would replace it if it isn't an absolute pain to swap out.

Just did a YouTube check and found this. Guess I should have done this first . Looks like replacement is a breeze.

That doesn't look too bad. I've seen threads that guys said it was a PITA to do or they couldn't get the old one out. I'd like to get after market ones for mine that has the extra detent in it, it sucks trying to get the rear Scab doors open when someone parks next to you.

I replaced mine a few years back, I thought it was called a "door check arm" or something.

Anyway, it was easy to do.
