How to stop rubbing at full lock?

any way? ive got 295/60r20 open country mt's on oem 20's. ive heard of some running 1/4 inch wheel spacers does that work?

I wish I could get rack limiters like i can for my mustang to limit the travel of the power steering rack. its rubbing the lower control arm and sway bar at full lock.

It's a combination of both your tires and your oem rims. Those 20" oem rims have too much backspace for a tire with large lugs. You put a 1/4" spacer it still may not give you enough clearance and unless you put longer studs on you have just given up that many stud threads.

Some have used 2" adapter spacers with oem rims, I've run them and have not had any issues as long as you buy quality spacers and check them often.

Do they "just rub" or do they "mash all over" the sway bar and LCA?

LCA is aluminum, sway bar is round and smooth.

I'ld take a sander and smooth the edge of the LCA or make a shield ..... and when you steer it to contact, back off the steering a hair. I "back off" when I hit the locks myself .... besides, how often do you steer that sharp?

My 33x12.5/20 M/Ts rubbed my '04 sway bar now that I think of it, that was with my current 20x9 +18 offset 5.71"BS wheels. On my 2007 it seems to have been less, but it still did. I never do a full lock turn as I mentally can't handle hearing the power steering whine/hum while doing so, along with the vibration from the steering wheel when its under strain.

I forgot about the guy who put 2" Bora spacers on with his OEM 20s, LakeMaryKid his ID was.

His rubbing point is photographed, mine is at the same spot. Better photos on page 2.
