help me out- intake filter rot- need replace

F150 5.4 v8 Fx4 crew.

i have an old air force one instake system that i was told is out of business.

its 3.5" pipe tube...so i need to find me replacement filter that accept 3.5" pipe tube. the filter is round and is rotting.

the air filter is - Base width cross measure approx 9.5" , length "height" 8", top round 6" its clamp on air filter

I found one similar the size but its a bit bigger like an inch bigger , will it harm to my engine- too much lean ?? will it not make any different ?

please help me out

What year is this 5.4 there is a good chance you are already running dangerously lean with the aftermarket intake...
But for filter replacement look into Amsoil Dry EA Filter. I found one to replace my K&N oiled filter.

Or put the stock filter box back on, stick in a new element, and just do a "Gott's Mod"?

I bought an S&B filter to replace mine. Don't remember the part #, but I still have the filter and the 3.5" AF 1 tube from my 07 if your interested. I also have the original air force filter too. They need cleaned but they are still usable.

I found the part # for the replacement filter if you want to buy a new one. It's #R1137 The new filter is smaller but it will work.

BTW S&B made the original filter that's why I looked there for a replacement.

IIRC there was no difference, but the truck has been gone for 3.5 years now.
