Electrical Problem on 2004 F150?

Started out as an intermitten problem but over the weekend became constant. When I turn on the AC or heat, the flasher and bright light bulbs come on and stay on. Also cannot take out of park when this happens. This also happens with the lights on and ac/heat off. With lights and heat or ac on, the flasher and bright light bulbs come on and stay on and are much brighter than before and the engine acts like it has a load on it. Any ideas? I just bought it in August and it's at the dealership now being looked at. Hopefully, whatever it is, it's covered under the warranty...

check your fuse box for water. If it is wet then the gem module is probly fried and you will need a new fuse box and gem module. This is caused in the 04's by leaking windshield seals, leaky conduit thru the firewall and leaky 3rd brake lights. My gem module was fried and fuse box was all corroded from a leaky conduit thru the firewall and it cost me about 500 bucks, but I was out of warranty. If you are under warranty, then it will be covered.

Since the op only had 3 posts and this thread is from 7 years ago, I don't think he will be replying.

You're better off posting in the electrical section.
